In the 1970s, serial killer Rodney Alcala (Daniel Zovatto) has lured women by posing as a photographer looking for models. Although already a registered sex offender and recently released from prison for sexually assaulting and beating an eight-year-old girl, he's chosen to appear on The Dating Game, a show that introduces a set of three new bachelors on each episode, who are hidden from view as a woman asks them amusing questions, then chooses a winner to go on an all-expenses-paid trip with her.Cheryl Bradshaw (Anna Kendrick) is the bachelorette on the day Rodney Alcala appears on the show.
